Work on the language you want to use
Tell Amelia what matters to you: everyday conversations, work, study, travel or life in a new country. Your goals, working level and priorities help shape the session.
Practise speaking and listening, rehearse a role-play, explore grammar or build a stronger vocabulary. Explanations and difficulty can adjust as you work. You can ask for a slower pace, another example or conversation-only practice.

Amelia can choose teaching tools to suit the lesson. You do not have to plan every activity or use every tool.
Give language a real context
A library of 130 approved learning images and 22 activity sets supports descriptions, comparisons, stories and discussion. Varied scenes help you practise useful language in different situations.
Keep useful words close
Collect words and expressions from your learning, explore meaning and examples, and revisit them in later practice.
Check an idea while it is fresh
Try short language and grammar activities, receive feedback and work through a correction. Practice supports learning; it is not a formal test.
Improve a draft step by step
Develop an email, description or other piece of writing. Compare saved versions and use feedback to make your meaning clearer.
Give the next session a starting point
Keep track of your goals and follow-up work. Homework and saved learning notes help connect today’s practice with your next visit.

Your learning has somewhere to stay
Session History brings together saved educational work: board notes, selected images and responses, vocabulary, practice, writing versions, homework and feedback where used. Goals & Progress and next-session plans help you choose what to work on next.
Amelia uses selected saved learning information for continuity. This is not perfect recall of every conversation, and progress indicators are not formal CEFR assessment results.

- Use dedicated Amelia timeChoose 60, 120 or 180 minutes in the paid AI options. Use one balance across sessions and enabled Amelia languages; unused purchased time expires 12 months after purchase. Payment is in ZAR and card conversion may vary. Choose your option in the paid AI options.
- Choose voice or textConnected, billable session time is deducted from your balance. End when you choose. Contact Support if a platform problem affects your time.
Clear choices and boundaries
Practice with confidence and perspective
Amelia is an AI Language Tutor. She can make mistakes, including in pronunciation guidance and transcription. Ask for clarification and check important information. Tutoring does not award certificates or supply live assessment answers.
Transcript saving is optional and off by default. Choose before connecting; a saved transcript is learner-only, expires 30 days after the session starts and can be deleted earlier. Raw Amelia microphone audio is not retained by the English application. Transcript errors or omissions are possible. Deleting a transcript does not delete your saved educational work.
Read the AI disclosure and your privacy choices. Normal service availability applies; Human Tutor bookings are a separate, coming-soon service.
