1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. Similar local browser storage can remember limited settings on the device.
2. Essential use
DiverseFX English uses an essential, secure session cookie to keep a signed-in session and protect forms. It is host-only, sent over HTTPS and unavailable to browser scripts. Without it, registration, login, account and protected learning features cannot work correctly.
3. Interface storage
The site may use short-lived browser state for interface behaviour, such as an open menu, AI session recovery or the current learning view. This helps the interface work; it does not grant course access or add learning time.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies will prevent signed-in and protected features from working. Optional public-page measurement is off until you select its footer checkbox. We remember that choice in local storage and use a random, short-lived tab identifier in session storage only after opt-in. Uncheck the box to stop measurement and clear the tab identifier. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable it. See measurement privacy and retention. This is separate from marketing consent and Representative attribution.
Representative links
When you follow a Representative link, a secure, first-party cookie can retain the pending referral for up to 90 days. It is unavailable to browser scripts and contains no name or email. We validate the referral before binding it to a verified adult account. Deleting the cookie removes the pending browser claim; it does not erase an established account relationship or financial audit history.
